Guided Growth was established to support looked-after young people ages 16 and older. Guided Growth was founded in 2023. We work together with local authorities and the Home Office.

Our practice is informed by the six letters: Growth.
G - GUIDED
Our tree symbolises the six pillars for growth. With the right ingredients modelled by staff members and others that the young people will come across within our service. This will have a positive impact and demonstrate self-confidence., self-worth and self-esteem. The young people are guided, empowered and enabled to live their lives to the fullest. We encourage relationship building, reconciliation, Respect, Responsibility.
R - RECRUITMENT
We have a strong hiring process that fosters safer hiring and makes sure we choose the best candidates to take care of our children and young people. We use Warner Interviewing and Safer Recruitment practises to achieve this. Prospective employees must pass all required background checks, including both oral and written references, gaps in employment, DBS/convictions, overseas checks, etc.
O - OVERCOME
Understanding adolescent development has been our way to stay connected to our young people while they overcome any barriers encountered along their journey. It is important to remember that teenagers are individuals with unique personalities and have their own likes and dislikes, displaying universal traits.
W - WELLBEING
We encourage young people to build positive educational experiences, healthy relationships to maintain a good level of mental health. We encourage young people to be physically active by volunteering within the local community, gain interests of choice and find a hobby. This initiates positive emotions and moods that lead to contentment and happiness.
T - TOGETHER
Together we aim to transform each young person’s life by taking a holistic approach to support them to achieve realistic personal goals. Staff members support by giving the young people the space and trust to practice autonomy that enables them to feel empowered. We collaborate with other multi-agencies and educational institutions, whether they are mainstream, or specialty focused. We collaborate with organisations like CAMHS, schools, and colleges.
H - HOPE
We encourage young people to be hopeful and ambitious for their own futures and to be good role models that influence and inspire others.
We believe that our young people will have the self-assurance they need to make wise decisions about their future and become respectful members of today's society.
OUR VISION...
Our goal is to be known for offering our looked-after young people top-notch assisted living services in a warm, cozy atmosphere that we would be proud to live in.
Every young person has the potential to develop the drive and skills required to lead a meaningful life, in our opinion, given the right help and direction. Our goal is to foster a supportive atmosphere where each young person can more easily access school or vocational training and be supported as they go on to a variety of career options.
We are aware of the difficulties young people may face as they get ready to leave local authority care and transition to independent adulthood. We think we can successfully equip young people with the life skills they need to move forward and contribute positively to their larger communities by providing them with positive role models and dedicated, compassionate, experienced support staff.
OUR STORY...
Guided Growth established in 2023 by Malik and his team.
Together, we have more than 40 years of experience in the social care and criminal justice sector, mainly around children and young people’s emotional and behavioural difficulties and supported living.
Our first supported living property in Croydon was launched in 2024, a freshly refurbished spacious home.
OUR SUPPORTED LIVING HOMES...
Our semi-independent house is in London. Our homes are extensively renovated and remodelled, with a well-equipped staff office, spacious bedrooms that are decorated to suit the needs of each young person, along with well-appointed communal areas. Our properties also have cutting-edge CCTV cameras in all internal and external areas to ensure the safety of all our young people.
